lyrics

Between my dreams and my day job, I push it along
Because most of my achievements aint come from a song
In a time where the youth feel like nobody bothers,
I feel like we need less rappers and more fathers
Someone who is direct with them, lovingly correcting them
But if nots for social media, who will connect with them
I see the power of the words that I speak,
But it should never over ride the things a parent should should teach
….only question…
I learn from everybody, even addicts
With all that’s going wrong, why we seeking more fanatics?
I rap, because I challenge kids to critically think
For themselves…to choose wisely…since the worlds on the brink
Of self destruction…we could build it all from the ashes
But it starts in the soul and hearts, not memes and captions
Attention captured, when I rap they feel enraptured
I try to paint a picture of life, that’s never captured
I mean, I could go on, expose emulsion with photons
But I would rather speak on things that I’m a pro on
Like overcoming loss, being shy, and neglect
Because I want things I say to have uplifting effects

But still and all…

I aint tryna judge
Im just saying
That if we’re all powerful…then why you all just playing
Tomorrow isn’t promised, use these moments to grow
Cause sooner or later, we gonna reap the things that we sow

Day in and day out, the streets look for leaders
What I dont understand is y’all think villains gonna free us
You think they really care about your family woes?
You think they finna share your struggles when your elders are gone?
They only care when they hit with RICO’s from the Democrats
Who try to play the good guy…but remember that
They just a different wing of the same vulture
Instead of independence, they just keep selling culture
IF we dont got water, whole nation gone die
But y’all focused on the drip…and our people finna fry
All they do is talk down, dont foil the foil point
We like frogs in a hot pot brought to boiling point
Ya favorite rappers flexing on his fans …whose kids
Talking bought his chain and his brand new brand new whip
I’m tryna get you all to understand
If a man controls your most essential needs, then how are you a man?
